We’re so excited you’re here!

We know that trying out a brand new yoga studio can be a little scary, but don’t worry, it’s gonna be fun! You’ll instantly have a studio full of new yoga friends, ready to sweat and have fun with you (our members love newbies)!

All you really have to do is show up 15 minutes before class and we’ll take it from there.

Keep scrolling for answers to all the FAQs to help you get excited for your first class at Gateway Yoga.

What should I wear?

Anything you want to move and sweat in! (Seriously, don’t overthink it!)

What do I get to use at the studio?

  • All The Props: Blocks, straps, blankets, roller ball
  • Towels: Sweat towels AND a chilled Lavender towel at the end of each class (pretty much the best part!)
  • Water Bottle Refill Station
  • Loaner Yoga Mats (You’re welcome to try out all the brands we stock to find your favorite mat! A grippy mat can make all the difference in your practice!)

What should I bring?

  • Yoga Mat (if you have one)
  • Water Bottle
  • Your (awesome just as you are) self!

Where do I park?

  • Our parking lot is right in front of the studio on S Kirkwood Rd.

Is there a shortcut?

  • Oh, yes there is! Turn into the Edward Jones building entrance off Big Bend Rd. Go straight through the parking lot, make the first 2 rights and you’ll be in our parking lot!

What if I’m not good at yoga?

  • Great news, you can’t lose yoga. In fact, everyone wins! Our team, of amazing 200 and 500 HR registered yoga teachers, is committed to making every class a fun and powerful experience for everybody (yes, yoga is fun!)! We got you, we’ll offer verbal cues and hands on assists (if you want them) to help you discover the expression of the poses that works for YOU!

What if I’m late?

  • The studio door will be locked 5 minutes after the class start time, with no entry after that time.
  • Check out all of our attendance policies HERE
